Canada (Calgary - Banff - Jasper - Yoho - Calgary) August 5-12, 2018
Rocky Mountain! It was one spot on my bucket list. I had visited Canada 2 times previously, but had not visited this side of the country. I always dreamed to ride the Rocky Mountaineer Train, but it was too expensive so I decided to fly to Calgary and do a road trip to Banff, Jasper, and Yoho. I was doing a lot of research about where we should visit and was nervous that we wouldn't see the same things I saw online. Fortunately, I was beyond thrilled that we were able to see the unforgettable beauty of this region. August 6 We arrived yesterday August 5th in the evening and rested well for our journey next 5 days. This morning, we started the day off by driving to downtown Calgary visiting the Wonderland Sculpture , a popular huge wired woman front sculpture . It was during a Holiday so it was very quiet in the downtown. We walked about 20 mins and spent time a little bit at the Peace Bridge , a pedestrian and bike path with red color unique design. The weather was good
