Nola - Bahamas Dec 19-24, 2015
This was the first LONG road trip with the boys! Yes we were driving from Dallas/Fort Worth Texas to Cape Canaveral/Orlando Florida. It would be at about 20 hours on the road one way but we were excited as this was the first trip and last trip of the year. Dec 19 We planned to leave the house 6 am and hoped to arrive NOLA (New Orleans, Louisiana) mid afternoon. Unfortunately, my husband was sick. He went to see a doctor (urgent care) and was diagnosed with Strep. Fortunately, he got medication and the doctor said he should be ok to travel. Therefore we left the house 10 am. I didn't plan to drive but because of his sickness, I had to drive and yes I drove all the way to NOLA for 9 and a half hour. We arrived there 7:30 pm and checked in our hotel.
