Skiing at Red River, New Mexico Nov 23-28, 2010

Two more months, one more month, 20 more days, 10 more days... and here it came. Sean and Luke had counted days for their first ski trip. They knew it would be a long trip but they were ready to go! We decided to leave DFW on Tuesday evening. We left our house at 7 pm and drove for 5 and a half hour. We arrived Amarillo, where we stayed over night. Everyone was tired and went to sleep really fast. Once we woke up, it was time to hit the road again. Wednesday Nov 24 After good breakfast at the hotel, we left around 9:30 am.  The scenery along the way up to mountains to red river (especially around 1 hour before Red River) was so pretty.  We enjoyed the ride. Finally, we arrived Red River around 2 pm.  It was freezing cold.  Red River  is a very pretty, nice small town surrounded by mountains.  The place we were staying was 3 bears lodge.  My friend at work who also owns the travel business recommended us to stay.  The owners were really helpful.  They explained every

Niagara Falls - Toronto - San Francisco - Los Angeles January 8-14, 2010 Really? That was what a lot of people said when they heard about my plan. I took my mom and a senior relative couple to travel.  I know it sounded crazy because we flew across the country and the weather was getting worse up North. In fact, the closer to the day we had to leave DFW, the more nervous I was. We heard about the snow storm news and one of my relatives didn't feel good. We even talked about cancelling the trip. However, I am glad we didn't cancel it because it was one of the great trips for all of them.
